At the initiative of the Council of Europe, Strasbourg, the European Day of Languages has been celebrated every year since 2001 on 26 September.

 Being convinced that linguistic diversity is a tool for achieving greater intercultural understanding and a key element in the rich cultural heritage of our continent, the Council of Europe promotes plurilingualism in the whole of Europe.

PLANNING YOUR SUMMER IN ENGLISH

ENGLISH IN SUMMER

In groups , you are going to do some research work  to get the best place to improve the language.

We can consider different options:

• English  language summer courses 
• English /American summer camps
• Voluntary work in a country.
• Theatre programmes in English.
• Working as au-pairs in the UK / Ireland.
• University courses for foreign students in the US, Canada, UK, etc.

Starting from an agreed budget,  plan on the duration of your stay, accomodation (host family, student residence, youth hostel,etc), transport (flights to get there/ trains, buses ) food,documents you need (visa, passport etc.)
With all the information you can gather, design your own stay from the day you leave to the day you come back.
Then, make a webpage in WIX which shows your final product.
